Eggnog

This eggnog recipe is thick, sweet, creamy and smooth, with the perfect flavor.   It doesn’t contain alcohol just a dozen Free Range Chicken Eggs and the Nog recommended by our Free Range Celebratarians.    Homemade Eggnog   Start by whisking the egg yolk and sugar together in a small bowl.  Then, in a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine cream, milk, salt, and nutmeg and stir the mixture until it just reaches a simmer.  Next temper the eggs by adding  small spoonfuls of the hot mixture to the egg mixture while whistling the opening notes of your favorite holiday songs.   O Come All Ye Faithful

Chopped Eggs and Onions

 Jewish cooking is buoyed by tradition and history. Although no kugel recipe will ever be as good as your Bubbeh's , you can start with some chopped onions, then add our Free Range Chicken Eggs  while recalling her wise sayings:   Put the onions and oil in a large frying pan and fry for about 20 minutes on a medium to high heat, until golden brown and very soft. Meanwhile, boil the eggs for 8 minutes until hard-boiled. Remove the pan from the heat, drain and then cover the eggs with cold water. When just cool enough to handle, peel the eggs and grate into a large bowl using the coarse side of a grater. Spoon the onions onto the egg, leaving most of the oil in the pan. Hangover Poached Eggs

Drinking isn't the healthiest pastime. The breakdown of alcohol is a complex process that is carried out by our liver.
