Eggs McLuhan

 So here’s a unique way to make eggs and,it is a very popular dish at the Free Range Chicken Egg ranch. This dish will take a little extra time since you have to message the egg whites, but the end result is fluffy and delicious. McLuhanize this soufflĂ©  by adding bits of ham, cheese, herbs or even veggies. As Marshall McLuhan reportedly said one morning, We'll souffle' our eggs and thereafter our eggs will souffle' us.   Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch round baking dish. Separate the eggs by placing the whites in a separate bowl from the yolks. Whisk the egg whites with a mixer on high speed until soft peaks form (pictured) and set aside. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the foam has subsided, whisk in the whole-wheat flour (this is called making a “roux”). Irish Egg Salad Sandwich

  A staple Irish family recipe, this sandwich is known in every Irish household, you can be sure you had these snacks growing up in Ireland.  MairĂ©ad Geary @IrishUSAMom   Many a plate of salad sandwiches has been whipped together to bring to a funeral gathering or wake, or for a family Christening, Communion or Confirmation celebration. Hotels often serve these sandwiches as a light nibble at the end of wedding celebrations. The ingredients are readily available and easy to prepare: Dice the outer tomato flesh into 1/2 cm size pieces. Slice the green onions very thinly. Mash the hard-boiled eggs. Mix the mashed hardboiled egg, diced tomatoes, green onions, and mayonnaise. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste. Butter a pair of bread slices on matching sides. Spread the filling over one slice and cover with other slice. Slice the sandwich with two crossing diagonal cuts.
